1. Airport Council International (ACI) has ranked Indira Gandhi
International (IGI) Airport of Delhi as the world’s most performing
airports in the 25-40 million passengers per annum (MPPA) category. For
this achievement, IGI has won the annual ASI’s Airport Service Quality
(ASQ) award for the year 2014. This award recognises and rewards the
best airports in the world based upon Geneva-based ACI’s ASQ passenger
satisfaction survey. While in this rankings, Chhatrapati Shivaji
International (CSI) Airport of Mumbai also figured in the top five list.
दिल्ली का इंदिरा गांधी अंतरराष्ट्रीय एयरपोर्ट (आइजीआइ) अब विश्व का सर्वश्रेष्ठ एयरपोर्ट बन गया है। गत वर्ष एयरपोर्ट पर तमाम सेवाओं में सुधार के बाद यह खिताब जेनेवा स्थित एयरपोर्ट काउंसिल इंटरनेशनल (एसीआइ) द्वारा प्रदान किया गया। इस उपलब्धि के लिए, आईजीआई ने वर्ष 2014 के लिए वार्षिक एएसआई हवाई सेवा गुणवत्ता (एएसक्यू) पुरस्कार जीता है। ढाई करोड़ से चार करोड़ यात्री सालाना क्षमता वर्ग में आइजीआइ एयरपोर्ट को यह सम्मान हासिल हुआ है। मुंबई स्थित छत्रपति शिवाजी अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाईअड्डा इस सूची के शीर्ष पांच में जगह बनाने में कामयाब हुआ है।
2. Croatia’s first female President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic was sworn in. She is Croatia’s fourth president since its independence from Yugoslavia in 1991.
क्रोएशिया की पहली महिला राष्ट्रपति कोलिंदा ग्रैबर किटारोविक को शपथ दिलाई गई थी। 1991 में यूगोस्लाविया से क्रोएशिया की स्वतंत्रता के बाद वह इस देश की चौथी राष्ट्रपति बनी हैं।
3. The Report India’s Renewable Electricity Roadmap 2030- Toward Accelerated Renewable Electricity Deployment was released by NITI Aayog to accelerate the Solar Energy production, with support of CII, Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation and RAP (Regulatory Assistance Project), a global non-profit group. It is the Commission’s first report on renewable energy and it is its first attempt after being constituted.
नीति आयोग ने सोलर एनर्जी प्रोडक्शन को गति देने के लिए 2030 तक का रोड मैप पेश किया है। इसके लिए आयोग ने सोलर एनर्जी पर इंडियाज रिन्यूएबल इलेक्ट्रिसिटी रोडमैप 2030– टुवर्ड्स एसिलिरेटेड रिन्यूएबल इलेक्ट्रिसिटी डेप्लॉयमेंट रिपोर्ट भारतीय उद्योग परिसंघ (सीआईआई), शक्ति सतत ऊर्जा प्रतिष्ठान तथा वैश्विक स्तर पर काम करने वाले संगठन रेगुलेटरी असिसटेंट प्रोजेक्ट ‘आरएपी’ के सहयोग से तैयार की है। आयोग ने अक्षय ऊर्जा पर यह पहली रिपोर्ट पेश की है और नीति आयोग बनने के बाद उसका यह पहला प्रयास है।

5. Former IAS officer Jawed Usmani took oath as Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) of Uttar Pradesh. He was administered oath to office by Governor of UP Ram Naik at a function at Raj Bhawan in Lucknow.
पूर्व आईएएस अधिकारी जावेद उस्मानी ने उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्य सूचना आयुक्त (सीआईसी) के रूप में शपथ ली। लखनऊ में राजभवन में आयोजित एक समारोह में उत्तर प्रदेश के राज्यपाल राम नाईक ने उन्हें पद की शपथ दिलाई।
6. 40 kms away from Ahmedabad Dholera Special Investment Region (Dholera SIR) will be developed as the India’s first Smart City. The Central Government has sanctioned Rs. 2486 crore for this. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has planned to develop hundered cities in India as smart cities.
अहमदाबाद से 40 किमी दूर धोलेरा स्पेशल इन्वेस्टमेंट रीजन (धोलेरा एसआईआर) को देश की पहली स्मार्ट सिटी के रूप में विकसित किया जाएगा। इसके लिए केंद्र सरकार ने 2,486 करोड़ रुपये मंजूर किए हैं। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की देश में सौ स्मार्ट सिटी बनाए जाने की योजना है।
