ESPN's Partnership With Fidelity Investments Ties Wall Street With Sports Trade Deadlines

Fidelity Investments has entered into a one-year business relationship with ESPN .  It joins one of the largest financial service corporations with the worldwide leader in sports.  The deal partners Fidelity Investments and ESPN on a project that is largely focused on major U.S. professional sports trade deadlines and was purposefully announced and initiated around the National Basketball Association’s deadline that is just one day away.
The project is titled #TradeTalk and marks the first time that ESPN has partnered with a major financial services organization outside of providing traditional advertising space online and through its television networks.  The partnership will heavily promote Fidelity Investments surrounding trade deadlines by pushing co-branded landing zones on ESPN.com (both desktop and mobile versions of the website), articles and other content that include parallels between trade rumors/confirmations in the world of professional sports and considerations about trades on Wall Street.
